Treasures of the Apiarist – A Collection of Cautionary Tales

This is the first release by Vinna Bee, we describe it as a fusion of twisted Lo-Fi, Psychedelic, Folk. Its where the original Wicker Man soundtrack meets The Singing Ringing Tree with Polly Harvey and the melodic bits of Sonic Youth calling out from left field. Meanwhile the whole thing melds into some Celtic reverie.

Track Name: Silver Sea
1. Silver Sea:

I’m here by the sea! It’s me can you see?
Silver sea keeps me coming back for more
Silver sea will keep me coming back for sure.

Here we are alone on the beach
Waves like babies fingers rise and grab and reach.

Silver sea rushing through my hands and feet.
Silver sea dancing swirling liquid beat.

Winter in your eyes faraway
Timer sand through glass ends another day

Silver sea, Silver sea,

Track Name: Stones, Wolves, Clothes
2. Stones, Wolves, Clothes:

Here’s a drink to you and one for me, the apple never falls far from the poison tree.
So don’t drag you’re oh so weary heart around the wins of change blew your house down.

Take off all your clothes and bang the stones together, soon all the wolves they will be gone forever.
Like a siren who sings a song
Spin around around and around until we fall down (and we fall).

Is this half the place it used to be and it’s eating away away inside of me.
A dark wind shakes our world outside and the simple things the simple things seem hard to find.

Take off all your clothes and bang the stones together, soon all the wolves they will be gone forever.
Like a siren who sings a song
Spin around around and around until we fall down (and we fall)
Oooooooooo

Here’s a drink to you and one for me, the apple never falls far from the poison tree.
So don’t drag you’re oh so weary heart around the wins of change blew your house down.

Repeat chorus.

Track Name: Snowglobe Of A Dustbowl
3. Snowglobe of a Dustbowl:

I think about us laughing sitting on the beach
Then driving through the desert in the soaring heat
I simply closed my eyes and sleep right through the night
When I awake will I find everything alright.

I had a dream and in the dream I dreamt of sand in a snow globe of a dustbowl in our hands.

The radio shaped like a box sounded like a tin and always kept the same tone whatever room it was in.
I simply close my eyes and listen through the night when I awake will I find everything alright.

I had a dream and in the dream I dreamt of sand in a snow globe of a dustbowl in our hands. Then chasing tails to have every desire we’ll look around to see our home is on fire

Track Name: Bears Under Decks
4. Bears Under Decks

Today I feel like I’m an observer, standing on a mountain top
Looking over the end of another day I’m in an isolated spot
I like to be in familiar places I love to visit different ones
Then heading home to you at sunset hoping there’s another one.

Bears under decks their hiding from flames, bent satellites
(I ask you) are we all feeling the same.

Across the summer garden I can see your Christmas tree iiiits branches how they lean right over you and me. Iiits….Much too tall to see right to the very top and no one can see when its shadow starts or stops.

Are those.
Bears under decks their hiding from flames, bent satellites
(I ask you) are we all feeling the same.

Bears under decks their hiding from flames, bent satellites
(I ask you) are we all feeling the…..
Bears under decks their hiding from flames, bent satellites
(I ask you) are we all feeling the same

(I ask you) are we all feeling the same…………

Black sunflower seeds on the bird table
